How to Earn RCity Stars

Link your card
Link the credit or debit card you plan to use for qualifying purchases. We use Plaid, a leading provider trusted by many popular apps, to connect to your account.

Join reward offers
Check out the stories and join offers to start earning RCity Stars. It’s completely free to join! Each reward offer includes a list of participating businesses where you can earn RCity Stars when you shop. Keep an eye on the terms of each offer, and remember that offers run for a limited time only. Don’t miss out!

Cha-ching!
Receive RCity Stars for qualifying purchases made with your linked card! Your RCity Stars appear automatically in your app balance after payment has been confirmed. This can take a few days, but don’t worry—we’ll let you know when they’re in.

Where can I redeem?
You can redeem your Stars at any business marked in the app with an “R”. Note that these businesses change from time to time. The redemption value of each RCity Star is $1.

Select the business
Let the business know you’re paying with Stars, tap on the redeem option and choose the business you want to pay (woohoo!).

Pay with Stars
Enter the amount of Stars you are redeeming and wait for your confirmation screen! We’ll notify the business about your payment right away.

To automatically earn rewards for local shopping, you’ll be asked to link your everyday credit or debit card to your account.
Why is card linking a requirement?
Linking your credit or debit card allows us to identify your qualifying purchases, and automatically grant you rewards.
